PARKHURST (American, 19th/20th Century) BRIDGE TO THE ISLAND. Oil on canvas New England scene shows a wooden bridge spanning water leading to a treed hillside with Colonial homes. The water appears to be an ocean inlet. Signed lower left “Parkhurst”. Housed in a modern wide molded wood frame with gesso decorated liner. SIZE: 17″ x 25″. CONDITION: Relined, restored with inpainting. 9-25537 (800-1,200)
