SMALL COLLECTION OF WALKING STICKS. Second half of 19th century. The first example a carved bone head of a greyhound with glass eye and silver mount. The second an engraved gold toned grip with mother of pearl handle. A carved owl handle with glass eyes and a carved treen handle, together with a small carved dogs head with blue glass eyes sword cane handle. SIZE: Length of greyhound handle 4 1/2″. Length of owl 5 1/4″. Height of dogs head 3″. CONDITION: The two walking sticks in overall good complete condition, the greyhound missing one eye, with small cracks at silver mount. The gold colored handle with wear and denting. The carved owl handle in good overall condition, the treen handle in good overall condition, the dogs head sword cane handle with original surface and nice patina, the blade slightly pitted otherwise good. 9-91827 (500-1,000)
