TWO ROYAL DOULTON PITCHERS. 1) “D 2873” with green Doulton mark. 7-1/2” h. Titled “The Battle of Hastings 1066 From the Bayeux Tapestry”. Battle scene shown around body with green handle and edges. Very tight hairline in lip area. Otherwise good. 2) 8-1/4” h. Same but appears to be an earlier version with written number and black mark. Handle and edges in dark greenish/black. Some slight discoloration to interior, otherwise very good. PROVENANCE: From a Camden, Maine Estate. 9-72280 (100-200)
