CARL PHILLIP WEBER (American, 1855-1925) STORMY FARMYARD. Good oil on canvas scene shows two people, one with red umbrella, herding flock of sheep towards four cows with white ducks in water. Storm clouds are seen over background with spots of blue sky. A flock of geese flies overhead. Several farm buildings are seen with trees and fence. Signed lower right “C. Phillip Weber” and dated. Housed in a fancy deep gold gesso decorated frame with wide bead decorated lining. SIZE: 18” x 29-1/4”. CONDITION: Old patch to sky, minor inpainting, very good. 9-94304 (4,000-5,000)
