PENNSYLVANIA CHIPPENDALE WALNUT BLANKET CHEST. Late 18th century. The rectangular hinged lid with breadboard ends opening to the interior fitted with till, the dovetailed case on a molded base raised on later Ogee bracket feet. SIZE: 23″ h. x 37″ w. x 20″ d. CONDITION: Refinished, repair to rear of lid at hinges, warping to front panel at top, the Ogee feet a later addition. 9-91926 (500-700)
