REGENCY CROSS-BANDED MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS. The rectangular top with cross-banded edges above the conforming case fitted with a pair of aligned drawers over three long graduated drawers, all with cock beaded edges, raised on flared French feet, centering a shaped apron. Circa 1820. SIZE: H 37”, W 40”, D 18”. CONDITION: Chest retains old dark surface with some damages and roughness to the cross-banding; hardware is 20th Century replacements; feet appear to be original as are backboards. 9-91903 (800-1,200)
