OUTSTANDING LONG WALNUT SETTLE. Large bench has a tall back with upholstered panel. Above which is a 10” molded edge shelf supported by four scroll leaf brackets on a frieze carved with foliate scrolls and intertwining circles with flower centers. Back stiles with round carving and having a lion mask at top. Over upholstered seat in matching fabric supported by three trumpet turned and carved front legs having a notched carved seat rail with two drop aprons. Curving arms ending in a woman’s head with wings and scroll foliate bottom. Large label is affixed to back “Corlo Clucci”. 19th Century. SIZE: 58-1/2” h x 99” w x 23-1/2” d.
