WILTON ROBERT LOCKWOOD (American, 1861-1914) “THE LADY IN WHITE”. Large oil on canvas portrait of elegant lady in ladderback chair. She wears a white dress with white shawl. Hands are clasped in lap and head is slightly cocked. Grayish background. Several labels on reverse including a partial one with title and artist’s name. Housed in a molded wood gilt frame.
