WAITE (American, 20th Century) OLD MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN. Oil on board scene shows classic view of the rock outcropping in New Hampshire referred to as “Old Man of the Mountain”. This rock formation crumbled earlier in 2003. Signed bottom right, possibly Emily B. Waite. Housed in a painted white wood frame. SIGHT SIZE: 9-3/4” x 6-3/4”. CONDITION: Two sections need cleaning, otherwise very good. 9-96209 (200-400)
