SIGNED (20th Century) HORSE RACE. Oil on canvas scene shows the start of a horse race with 23 thoroughbreds and riders. They thunder across a grass course in front of a large grandstand with thousands of people. Atop the grandstand is a British flag. Signed lower left with an artist monogram which we have not been able to identify. Housed in a fine carved wood frame with carved wood lining. SIZE: 16″ x 24″.
