HENRY CHARLES FOX (United Kingdom 1860-1925) “HAYMAKING NEAR STRATFORD ON AVON”. Fine watercolor scene shows two men atop a hay wagon overflowing with hay lead by two horses in a recently cultivated field. Sky has late afternoon colors and two other men are seen in field with birds above. Signed lower right and dated 1923. Housed in a find period carved gilt wood frame, having artist and title plaque.
