INLAID ROSEWOOD ETAGERE. In two sections with the top section having a rectangular beveled edged mirror flanked by two shaped mirrors and two panels with inlaid urn and bellflowers. The large crest with diamond and pointed shaped bevel edged mirrors inset in an inlaid panel with trailing leaf vines. Shaped inlaid supports and a scrolled inlaid crest with central urn finial. The bottom cabinet section with central shaped compartment fitted with one small central shelf having a partial banister gallery front and two turned posts flanked by two bowed glass front doors having one shelf behind. Under which is a large shaped bottom shelf. All supported by four inlaid cabriole legs. PROVENANCE: From a fine Hallowell, Maine mansion. SIZE: 90″ h x 52″ w x 16″ d. CONDITION: Top crest has spliced repair, one replaced side mirror. Some finish inconsistencies. Otherwise very good. 9-26893 (1,500-2,500)
