EDOUARD DROUART (French, 1859-1945) “PREMIER TRIOMPHE”. Fine bronze figure of a man in military uniform carrying a drum and carrying two drumsticks high in the air. He stands atop a broken cannon and naturalistic base. The title is inscribed on one end, the artist under the cannon. There is a Paris foundry mark, which is obscured. SIZE: 22” h.
