LARGE CARVED MARBLE TOP ITALIAN STYLE SIDEBOARD. A multi-colored D-shaped marble top sets upon a D-shaped sideboard with two large drawers in frieze. Each drawer having carving of basket of fruit with trailing vines, pierced brass hardware with velvet lining and silver compartment insert. The apron with shell and flower carving against a stippled background. Seven tall carved and turned legs supported by round bun feet. A shaped bottom stretcher. PROVENANCE: From a fine Hallowell, Maine mansion. SIZE: 39″ h x 84-1/2″ w x 23-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Crack to marble top, some slices off bun feet. Otherwise very good. 9-26894 (1,000-1,500)
