JEROME HOWES (American 1955-) “TROMPE L’EOILE – SHARPSHOOTER’. Oil on masonite scene shows a target made up of the Ace of diamonds playing card with shot holes attached to a barn board having a nail on which is hung a pistol. The right hand corner the artist has painted his card “J. H. Howes” and written “Lightening strike” and there is a dangling pencil. Housed in modern carved gilt frame. SIZE: 14″ x 11″.
