MID-19TH CENTURY CARVED AND GILT GESSO OVAL HALL MIRROR. This elaborate carved and gilt mirror features fully carved putti on either side, elaborate carved swirling leaves and flowers with cornucopias above their head, the tops are mounted with elaborate filigree leaves and a cluster of flowers. Circa mid-19th century, the mirror features an original old oval glass. The gilt frame with sandpaper surface. SIZE: 70” h x 37” w. CONDITION: Some imperfections on the frame carving, the mirror cracked. 9-28095 (2,500-3,500)
