YOUNG LADY PLAYING MANDOLIN AUTOMATON. Young lady strumming her mandolin in a fanciful dress (extreme fraying), turns her head from left to right. This Simon & Halbig (mold #1300) with blue glass eyes and bisque hands (finger damage to left hand concealed by flowers, broken pinkie right hand) is standing atop a brown velvet-covered music box base. SIZE: 7”w x 5-1/2”d x 17”h. CONDITION: Wig glued tightly, but bisque head inspected and no apparent damage. JL 1-2771 (2500-3500)
