THREE-PIECE FIGURAL BRONZED AND MARBLE CLOCK SET. The large clock with shaped white and black marble case supported by four French style bronze mounted feet has 17″ bronzed metal figure titled “La Rencontre ” after Auguste Moreau. The figurine shows man and woman walking side by side. The round clock face with two key holes and flower decorated porcelain dial. Matching two handled 14″ bronzed metal vases decorated with a full bodied flying cherub. Similar marble and bronze foot base. Key and pendulum present. PROVENANCE: From a fine Hallowell, Maine mansion. SIZE: Clock is 26″ h x 15″ w x 8″ d. Vases are 18-1/2″ h x 7″ w x 6-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Very good. Some loss to bronze finish. 9-26895 (1,500-2,500)
