Z.DESIDERI (Italian, 19th Century) THREE WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS. Each signed by “Z” or “L” Desideri. 1) Depicts a Venetian canal scene with innumerable buildings on either side. A gondola in the foreground with others in the back. 2) Scene shows a gondolier in the harbor with two passengers on board. 3) Scene shows a fountain in the plaza. In the background is an ornate building with numerous life-size sculptures. In the foreground is a fountain with numerous figures at the fountain. The plaza scene is framed in a simple gold frame. The other two are loose without frames. SIZE: 1) 10-1/4″ x 6-7/8″. 2) 9″ x 5-1/2″. 3) 9-1/2″ x 6-1/4″. CONDITION: Generally good. 9-27167 (600-900)
