Correction: Estimate should read 1,500-2,500. 19TH CENTURY PRINT “VIEW OF NEWBURYPORT”. From a sketch by A. Conant, lithograph by Lane & Scott’s, Boston. The legend “View of Newburyport from Salisbury”. Originally from a painting by Fitz Hugh Lane. The two colored lithograph having some hand coloring. Housed in a period walnut frame, the scene shows several ships at anchor, including the sidewheel Ohio. All against a prosperous coast city shoreline. SIZE: 15-1/2″ x 24″. CONDITION: Examined out of frame, margins cut with loss of image, bottom margin cut through “From Salisbury”. Slightly faded with some light foxing. 9-26607 (1,500-2,500)
