TUFT’S AUTOMATIC CRYSTAL FOUNTAIN. From the makers of the famous Tuft’s soda fountains comes this rare Victorian perfume fountain, which was used as both novelty entertainment and an air freshener. The assembly consists of a cobalt blue glass basin and globes (also sold in cranberry) on a brass frame, all resting upon a polished white marble base. Pat. Feb. 7, 1872 by the J.W. Tufts Co., Boston, Mass. SIZE: Overall height 22” h. CONDITION: One globe has hairline where it attaches to the brass fitting; otherwise, very good-excellent.
