15” OPEN-MOUTH FRENCH FASHION-STYLE DOLL. Similar to the French fashions of the same time period, this German swivel-neck fashion is on a gusseted kid body with bisque arms. Fine blue paperweight eyes, accentuate the pale bisque and open mouth with molded teeth of this “GERMAN BEBE”. The bisque arms extend past the elbow up to the forearm but are crooked at the elbow joint. Repair to thumb on left hand. She is wearing a well made fashion outfit, antique brown fashion style shoes and a long blonde mohair wig. CONDITION: Eye chip/repair to lower left rim of doll’s eye. JL 1-2468 (500-700)
