SALESMAN SAMPLE “REX” ONE-HOLER OAK SANITARY CLOSET. Fabulous quarter-sawn oak miniature toilet with paneled sides, a brass hinged lid and seat, and a hinged serpentine oak front door which hinges open to reveal a removable galvanized tin receptacle. Oak front door bears a transfer decal which reads “The Rex Sanitary Closet Co.… Minneapolis, Minn.”. Tin receptacle bears a paper label with directions for conversion to a chemical toilet, and advises “Always Use Toilet Paper”. SIZE: 6″ w x 7-1/2″ h x 7-3/4″. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent condition. Appears to be all original varnished wood surfaces that show only moderate wear. Bottom of tin receptacle needs re-soldering. 1-5689 PF (2,000-5,000)
