JACOBIAN OAK AND CHESTNUT JOINT STOOL. Early 19th Century, late 18th Century. The square top with canted corners above the sloping frieze raised on raked baluster turned legs joined by a box-stretcher on turned feet. SIZE: H 19-1/4”, top 14-1/2” x 14-1/2”. CONDITION: Oak stool retains its early old surface. Minimal worm damage. The top has an old split that has been repaired and re-glued. Feet appear original and intact; overall very good. 9-91666 (1,000-1,500)
