13” BRU JNE 2 BEBE. Charming cabinet sized French Bebe. She has light blue threaded paperweight eyes (reset), molded tongue, and is on a kid Bru Jne body with bisque lower arms, jointed at the elbow. Body overall is very good original condition with normal wear and has a paper label attached to rear of torso from a doll hospital in Paterson, New Jersey stating, “A fine line of new dolls and toys. The best workmanship guaranteed.” Doll has an antique blonde mohair wig and is wearing a simple white cotton dress but also comes with an elaborate bebe dress of newer vintage. CONDITION: Overall is very fine. Doll has pinpoint gray spot to the left of right eye and some restoration to doll’s lower right eyelid. JL 1-2490 (5000-5500)
