EARLY CONTINENTAL TILT TOP PINE AND OAK TAVERN TABLE. Early 18th C, possibly late 17th C. Circular three-board pine top hinged and joined to an oak tripod base. Three rectangular molded legs canted and joined by a flattened T-stretcher. SIZE: 25-1/2″ h x 31-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Table has been stripped with remnants of old blue and white paint and original red washed surface showing beneath the table top. There is considerable amount of old worm damage and all three legs have been pieced. A good early table that has had extremely hard wear and needs further restoration. 9-91678 (800-1,200)
