17” E 7 J BEBE. A grand example of the much sought after E J mold! Large, amber, paperweight eyes accentuated by some mauve eye shadowing and peaches & cream bisque, on a straight-wristed, marked Jumeau composition body. Doll has original spring in head and is marked on the rear of head “Depose E 7 J”. She also has her original Bebe Jumeau shoes marked with a “7”. She is wearing a very fine Bebe dress which appears to have been restored some time ago with matching hat and a wonderful, long, blonde, antique mohair wig. CONDITION: Minute white spot on lower cheek. Composition body overall very fine, minor wear at joints. Crack to white of eye only (doll’s right eye). JL 1-3198 (5500-7500)
