FINE ANTIQUE ENAMEL AND JEWEL FABERGE TYPE DECORATED FIGURAL MINIATURE CLOCK. A colorful silver rooster sits atop a carved pink quartz base and holds a round clock between head and tail. The round clock has Roman Numeral dial with gold colored metal center and white enamel behind gold numbers. The bezel is surrounded by forty-three round red stones, possibly rubies, (one missing). The clock has a case that is enameled with flower and leaf decoration in colors of green, blue, red and orange. The front bezel opens and a mechanism is hinge mounted and flips out of case. Watch type movement. Key wound (key not present). The rooster has colorful enameling to head and feathers. The sides are paved with cut red stones, possibly rubies, approximately sixty on each side. The silver body is decorated with feathers and appears to be unmarked. The pink quartz carved plinth stands 1-1/4” h. Possibly Russian. Certainly of good quality similar to work of Faberge. SIZE: Overall is 5-1/4” h x 2-3/4” w. CONDITION: Some minor enamel missing on head, otherwise very good. 9-95801 (3,500-4,500)
