NICHOLAI IVANOVITCH LIBERICH (Russian, 1828-1883) STANDING BEAR. Outstanding Russian bronze sculpture of a standing bear with paws extended with open mouth and fierce look. Great texture, sharp claws and nice facial features. Bronze is mounted to a white onyx oval base with bronze plaque “Nicholai Liberich 1868”. SIZE: Bronze is 20-1/2” h. Base is 3” h x 11-1/2” w.
