LOT OF FOUR PENNSYLVANIA QUILTS: STAR OF BETHLEHEM QUILT, TOGETHER WITH A STARFISH QUILT AND A PAIR OF 9-SQUARE QUILTS. All 19th century. Star of Bethlehem: The large central 8-pointed star on an ivory field filled with lesser rose-colored stars. Starfish: In pink and lime green with nine squares, each with a rayed starfish. Pair: Each with seven rows of 12 diamonds with sawtooth border, wrought in lavender and celadon green, the outer border appliqued with a scrolling fern leaf. SIZE: Star of Bethlehem: 7’10” x 7’10”. Starfish: 6′ x 6’2″. Pair: Each 8’1″ x 5’6″. CONDITION: Star of Bethlehem: Good overall with minor staining. Starfish: Good overall with some fraying to edges.
