OUTSTANDING AND RARE LARGE BRONZE FOUNTAIN OF A NUDE BOY ON TURTLE BY TIFFANY OF NEW YORK. This fabulous large bronze fountain depicts a young boy kneeling on a large turtle with strap around turtles neck. Boy holds strap in left hand and ankle in the right. The turtles mouth has a tube for water. All mounted on an eight sided platform base. On base there is a half round metal plaque mounted on the back is partially legible and says Tiffany New York and has a shield with a T in between and NY. Wonderful green verdigris patina. An important fountain in very desirable form, color and size. SIZE: 32-1/2” h x 21-1/2” l x 16” w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-27532 (10,000-20,000)
