OUTSTANDING HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN KPM PLAQUE. Late 19th Century. Rectangular plaque scene shows a man with brown hair, black suit and flower decorated lapel bending over and kissing a woman who is sitting on a French style sofa and wearing a light blue formal dress with red scarf with flower at collar. A marble top stand is seen in corner with pink roses. Red flower print curtain and colorful pillows finish the scene. Housed in a magnificent gesso decorated frame. Signed lower right “E. Volk…”. Back is impressed marked KPM. SIZE: 8-1/2” x 12-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-27168 (8,000-12,000)
