FINE PENNSYLVANIA QUEEN ANNE FIGURED WALNUT CHEST ON FRAME. The molded rectangular cornice above the conforming case fitted with three aligned short drawers over two short drawers over three graduated long drawers. All thumb molded. Fitted to a molded frame with scalloped and undulating apron and raised on cabriole legs with shaped returns terminating in trifid feet. SIZE: H 64”, overall width 40-1/2”, overall depth 23”. CONDITION: Piece has a nice early cleaned surface, brass hardware—probably original, no restorations or alterations noticed beyond some early filling of holes and small splits. Feet are original with repairs to left front and rear leg toes; otherwise, very good with fine-figured graining. 9-91710 (5,000-8,000)
