15” WALTZING STEINER BEBE. An early extremely pale bisque, open-mouthed Steiner with two rows of inset teeth and cobalt blue glass eyes. She sits atop of a cardboard cone-shaped cylinder containing a clockwork mechanism. When activated, the doll’s arms lift upwards and she propels forward on the floor. A fine laced, trimmed pale silk with matching bonnet (recent vintage) cover the cylinder. CONDITION: Visible mold line on and above doll’s right ear, arms needing minor attention to enable them to raise higher. Old repair to cardboard cylinder under dress. JL1-2516 (1750-2250)
