J. H. ROBINSON (19th Century) STILL LIFE OF FRUIT. Oil on canvas still life scene shows a large group of fruit on a thatched mat and in an open basket. The fruit include green and red grapes, pear, apples, plums, peach, raspberries and strawberries. Signed lower right and dated “1874”. Housed in what appears to be its original wide, deep gesso decorated gilt frame. The frame has an inner gold liner, which has identification of artist and title. SIZE: 16” x 20”. CONDITION: Craquelure, very good. Possibly some old restoration. 9-26754 (4,000-6,000)
