WILSON (American, Mid 20th Century) THE UPSET WAC. Watercolor cartoon shows a young woman with brown military cap who has fallen in a snow bank where her purchases from the Commissary are strewn over the snowbank. A man helps her pick them up. Signed lower right “Wilson”. Housed in a simple stained wood frame with white matte. This is the type of cartoon you would see in a magazine publication such as “The New Yorker”. NOTE: This is being sold to benefit the South Congregational Church, South Amherst, MA. SIZE: Sight: 10″ x 7-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98443 (50-100)
