RARE SALESMANS SAMPLE (POSSIBLY PATENT MODEL) HORSEDRAWN WOODEN PLOW. This 19th or early 20th century horse-drawn device depicts hand-made wooden plow with metal bottom edge. Wings on either side can be adjusted at different angles to widen the lane and throw the snow. Nicely detailed and put together with screws and wooden pegs. SIZE: 30” l x 13” w (without “wings”). CONDITION: Generally very good, nice old dark patina. There are a couple of small chips of wood missing and the two farthest outside “wings” connected to an arm by a little hinge with pins holding it together, the simple wire pin (the diameter of a paperclip) is missing on each side. 1-5941 (1,750-2,750)
