ATTRIBUTED TO ALFRED THOMPSON BRICHER (American, 1837-1908) THE CALM SHORE. Oil on canvas coastal scene shows a small curving beach to rock outcropping with a calm sea under sunset sky. A flock of seagulls is seen over rock and grass beyond. Housed in a period gesso decorated rose motif gilt frame. Signed “AT Bricher” lower left. SIZE: 10″ x 20″.
