CECIL CROSLEY BELL (American, 1906-1970) “DIGGING CLAMS”. Oil on masonite shoreline scene shows a man digging clams in a tidal flat with point of land beyond with house. Signed bottom right “C Bell”. On reverse is title and indication this was purchased from Agatha Bell in 1982. Housed in a carved and gilt modern frame. SIZE: 12″ x 16″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-20250 (1,000-1,500)
