14” BREVETTE BRU BEBE. Marked “3/0” on rear of head, this amber-eyed Bebe is a fine early example of a Bru. Affixed to the proper style kid body with “square” shoulder plate, she has bisque hands (right hand has finger repairs) and has a slight crouching appearance to her lower legs to her kid body. An elaborate cotton Bebe dress, straw hat and blonde curly mohair wig and antique brown leather shoes, further adds to this doll’s appeal. CONDITION: Overall bisque is pale and very fine.
