LARGE PAPER LITHO FACTORY SCENE FOR JOHN GUND BREWING COMPANY. This colorful lithograph paper depicts a huge brick plant for producing the Gund beer. Titled below, “JOHN GUND BREWING COMPANY, LACROSSE, WISCONSIN, USA. ESTABLISHED 1854, INCORPORATED 1880, ERECTED 1898, ANNUAL CAPACITY 500,000 BARRELS. ELECTRIC POWERED TRANSMISSION THROUGHOUT”. Outside of the factory with much activity, including locomotives, horse-drawn beer wagons, coal wagons, trolley cars and horse and carriages. Framed in the original old dark oak, gilt lined frame. SIZE: (incl. frame) 49”w x 34-3/4”h. CONDITION: Small loss of paper in the upper center border (at the top). Also various water stains and soiling scattered throughout the sign. Frame generally good but with some imperfections. 1-5937 (750-1,250)
