RARE EARLY PAPER ADV FOR MOUNT VERNON GOLD DUST FINE CUT TOBACCO. This magnificent patriotic lithograph depicts George Washington and his family at Mount Vernon with white stallion on front lawn being attended by young black man. The text beneath this colorful litho reads, “MANUFACUTRED BY HEINSOHN, ALLEN & COMPANY, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY”. In fine print beneath the image, “LITHO. OF MAJOR & KNAPP, 449 BROADWAY, NEW YORK”. Framed in an old molded black, gilt-lined frame. SIZE: (frame included) 24-1/4”w x 20”h. CONDITION: Appears to have a teeny repaired spot in upper right (next to the margin), otherwise appears fine.
