FOUR SIMILAR COMB-BACK WINDSOR SIDE CHAIRS, A BOW-BACK SIDE CHAIR AND A BIRDCAGE WINDSOR EXAMPLE. Late 18th-early 19th century. All of Pennsylvania region. The comb-backs with arched crest rail and turned-up ears over seven spindles joined to shaped shield and saddle seats. The bow-back chair with shaped saddle seat on splayed, swelled simulated bamboo legs and stretchers. The birdcage Windsor of typical form with scooped elliptical seat and simulated bamboo turnings.
