Oil on canvas portrait of a young woman in French country clothes with red head scarf tending to a flock of sheep in a landscape under a cloudy sky. Signed lower right and dated “’90”. Also written on back of canvas “Ernault”. Housed in what may its original gilt wood frame with double gilt liner. SIZE: 18-1/4″ x 15″. CONDITION: Craquelure, some small chips and roughness as well as chips to top edge. Otherwise good but in need of restoration. 9-98361 (400-800)
