BLACK SMOKING AUTOMATON BY LAMBERT. A superb example with wonderful movements! When activated, the man raises his right hand with the cigarette up to his mouth and inhales. He then turns his head to the left slightly & looking upwards and exhales the smoke. While exhaling, he also twists his wrist offering flowers to a lady. Bisque head is attributed to Jumeau and has superb molding. Music box contained within plays two tunes. SIZE: 5”w x 6”d x 24”h. CONDITION: Generally excellent with no apparent damage. Bisque head has inherent mold split at rim only, straw line on cheek but this is NOT DAMAGE. Professionally re-dressed. JL 1-2786 (9000-11000)
