8” BISQUE DOLL OF “OLD RIP”. Probably made by Cuno, Otto & Dressel, same manufacturers of the Uncle Sam doll, this fellow is marked on rear of head, “OLD RIP 15/0”. Dressed in brown leather with white leather hip boots and long white-ish mohair beard and hair. Blue glass set eyes on a five piece composition body. First place ribbon from 1985. CONDITION: Minor wear to composition hands, otherwise, near mint. JL 1-2565 (200-300)
