Outstanding oil on canvas New York street scene looking up 5th Ave. with the New York Public Library on the left flying a U.S. and French flag on separate flagpoles. Two flags are shown on buildings on right. Several colorful vehicles driving through snow and people with snow covered umbrellas walk the sidewalk. Signed and dated lower right “Guy Wiggins 48”. Title and name plaque on a carved wood leaf decorated frame with linen liner. SIZE: 12-1/4” x 16-1/4”. CONDITION: Three patches to reverse, minor inpainting. Very good. 9-95281 (27,500-32,500)
