UNSIGNED IN THE MANOR OF JACOB MAENTEL (American, 1763-1863) INTERIOR WITH STANDING MAN. Folk art watercolor portrait of a man standing with hand at hip and other hand on a hepplewhite drop leaf table. A mustard colored bamboo style Windsor chair is next to him with a federal picture mirror on wall. A decorative floor covering, grain painted wainscoting and colorful wallpaper. We are not sure of the age but it appears to be 20th Century. Housed in an antique grain painted style frame. SIZE: 9” x 7”. CONDITION: Very good, some light stains. 9-27444 (500-1,000)
