GEORGE MARTIN OTTINGER (American, 1833 – 1917) “SKETCH FROM THE BUCCANIER’S”. Oil on board illustrative scene shows several sword carrying men leading a man & woman up the stairs with another scantily clad woman being pulled through a doorway. A dead swordsman is on the ground. Signed lower left “G.M.O”. on chair back, title at bottom right. Housed in a modern gilt frame with white matte in a floating mount. SIZE: 8-1/2″ x 11-1/2″.
