*COLT MODEL 1911 SEMI AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. WWI production, shipped March 19, 1918 to Springfield Armory. It is a standard 1911 with 5” bbl, large diamond checkered walnut grips with original type 2-tone magazine with “R” code. Bbl has “P” & “H” inspector marks parallel to the bore with a large “N” on the right side of the lug. SN 255087. CONDITION: Good to very good, slide retains 75-80% thin blue-brown, strong and bright in the sheltered areas. The frame retains about 60% bright blue with gray-brown front strap and spring housing.
